As mentioned in a previous entry Back in the day. I mentioned Teena Marie was one of my favorite artists. She provided the soundtrack of my youth along with others such as New Edition.
Teena has been off the scene for a while, but I am glad to hear she has a label deal. A new CD titled La Dona is dropping soon with the single "Still in Love" hitting radio March 3, 2004. Hopefully theis new project will return her to the commercial success of the 1980's.

I love Teena Marie and I am glad that her new album is finally coming out. About 4 of the tracks come from her defunct famous bootlegged 1999 album Black Rain. VH1 has a track list.
